Rockwood Park – German Christmas Market

Step into a winter wonderland and immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of the Rockwood Park German Christmas Market. Nestled in the heart of Saint John, New Brunswick, this outdoor market is a festive celebration of all things Christmas, inspired by the traditional German markets that have captivated hearts for centuries.

  • Every weekend from November 17th to December 17th: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Nov 17/18/19, 24/25/26, December 1/2/3, 8/9/10, & 15/16/17

The Rockwood Park German Christmas Market will transport you to a world of holiday cheer and nostalgia. Picture wooden booths covered with decorations and lights, reminiscent of the stalls that line the cobblestone streets of Germany during the holiday season.

Visitors can expect to find a wide array of unique and locally made products, perfect for holiday gift-giving or simply treating yourself to something special. From exquisite ornaments and handmade jewelry to gourmet holiday treats, there’s something for everyone at this market.

The magic doesn’t end with the shopping. As you explore the market, you’ll be serenaded by the sounds of holiday music, the aroma of sweet Christmas treats, and you can capture the magic of the holidays with a visit to Santa’s Grotto.

The Christmas season isn’t just about shopping and festive fun; it’s also dedicated to giving back to the community. Local charities will be present at the market, providing an opportunity for visitors to support meaningful causes. By attending, you not only embrace the spirit of giving but also contribute to the betterment of the local community.

The Rockwood Park German Christmas Market is run by the Saint John Horticultural Association, a non-profit benefitting the Public Gardens and the Rockwood Park Campground.

Visitor tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite.
