Well, that’s a wrap on 2023. What a year it was!
At Let’s Camp we have so much to be thankful for in 2023. We had many new campgrounds join our community, tons of new campers using our marketplace, and lots of great new features added to our software for our clients to take advantage of.
Software Feature Highlights From 2023
There have been an laundry list of improvements to our booking software and marketplace this year, but we just want to share a few to help showcase what campgrounds will have access to for the 2024 camping season.
Event Registrations & Payments
Within Let’s Camp, parks have been able to post events to their profile page for a couple years, but now they can also take registration and payment for those events.
Event management is a key new feature to our platform. Many parks either took event registration and payment manually, or they had separate software to manage this for them. Building this into Let’s Camp helps our parks save time and streamlines their processes.
Here are the new event features:
- Create an event that requires registration
- Set a cost for an event registration or leave it as free
- Set a maximum number of registration for an event
To help parks promote their events, we’ve also added a event listing page on our platform. Now campers who come to letscamp.ca can browse for events. Go check out our current event listings.
Seasonal Site Management
We understand that seasonal sites need to be managed differently than transient sites. This past year our team built out Seasonal Site management features that helps parks better manage their seasonal sites online.
Many campgrounds had already been using Let’s Camp to manage their seasonal sites, but now they have more tools at their disposal to optimize this process even further.
Within our software, parks now have the ability to manage these items for their seasonal bookings:
- Set a deposit amount and due date
- Set a final payment date
- Create payment reminder dates where automatic emails will go out to guests
- Add your contract to the booking and have guests digitally agree to the terms
- Allow guests to make nominal payments towards their seasonal booking at any time

Waitlist
Having a full campground is a good problem to have. But, having a way to keep a waitlist of guests who want to book if a cancellation occurs helps you generate even more revenue.
Just last month, Let’s Camp added a feature to allow parks to do actually that. Now you can easily keep track of guests ready to camp if a cancellation occurs. You can keep track of their contact details, unit information, and the dates they’d like to book for.
